Virtual Tour of Auschwitz / Birkenau
Remember.org is a website with a mission to keep alive the memory of the Holocaust and honor the innocent victims who lost their lives to the tragedy. This extensive 360-degree virtual tour of the worst-known concentration camp, Auschwitz, lets you see what the sites of the infamous death camps look like now. Read the short overview, and then proceed to the tour, which includes a map and about 40 digitally panoramic photos of the site that was restored (though parts were left intact) after World War II. Explore the entrance, electrified fence, unloading zone, prisoner's hospital, men and women's barracks, "krematorium," and more. Each photo includes a description and historical context.
