Albert Einstein, Image and Impact
This online exhibit chronicles the life of Albert Einstein. It is based upon a 16-panel traveling exhibit designed by the Center for History of Physics on the occasion of the Einstein Centennial in 1979. Expert historians were enlisted to write and check the text, and copies were sent to roughly a thousand sites around the US and abroad in cooperation with the State Humanities Commissions. Institutions can still borrow a set of the panels, suitable for display in corridors and lobbies, from the AIP History Center. Explore Einstein's formative years, great works and philosophy.
