Art Safari, an interactive subsite, is based on the museum's popular family guidebook "Art Safari: An Adventure in Looking, for Children and Parents." The site uses a blend of Java programming, animation, sound, and interactive components to encourage adults and children to discover animals in four works of art from the Museum's Painting and Sculpture collection. Children can participate in online artmaking activities and enjoy the art and writing of other contributors around the world.
