What country has been ranked the most liveable?
In 2005 the Human Development Index (HDI) ranked Norway the "most liveable" country based on its citizens' quality of life. The criteria for calculating the "most liveable" and "least liveable" rankings include life expectancy, adult literacy, school enrollment, educational attainment, and per capita GDP. The HDI is published annually by the United Nations.
