Top 10 Most Challenged Books
The following books were among 460 challenges reported to the Office for Intellectual Freedom in 2009. The American Library Association suggests that for each challenge reported, as many as four or five go unreported. The agency offers tips on reporting or dealing with a challenge at its Web site.
