Congratulations to Library and Archival Exhibitions on the Web

Library and Archival Exhibitions on the Web brings together online exhibitions created by libraries, archives, and historical societies, and museum exhibitions with a significant focus on library and archival materials. The project began at the University of Houston in 1995 and was re-launched by the Smithsonian Institution Libraries in May 1999. In one clean list, the site opens the door to some of the best that libraries have to offer. Featured exhibits range from People at War, a National Archives exhibit highlighting the contributions of Americans who served during World War II, to One Room Schools, a Central Michigan University exhibit on one-room schoolhouses. Resources are organized alphabetically, and search capabilities are in the works.
