Congratulations to the Wilton Library
The Wilton Library Association was founded in 1895 as a subscription library before the widespread development of public libraries in the United States. It now serves as the public library for the town of Wilton, Conn.
The site takes on the challenge of organizing the entire Web, and does a great job of covering the bases without resorting to exhaustive lists.
Categories are generally short and sweet, focusing on resources with the highest utility.
The site offers special entry points for kids, teens, parents and seniors.
In addition to these bells and whistles, you'll find the basics -- patrons can apply for a library card, ask a reference question or request a book online.
Our favorite part? The Innovative Internet Applications in Libraries clearinghouse, which showcases a variety of outstanding interactive library projects.
