Congratulations to the Baltimore County Public Library

With a circulation of over 11 million items per year, the Baltimore County Public Library ranks among the most active in the country. The library's Web site is also a hub of activity. A moving ticker at the top of the screen showcases the latest news and resources. When we stopped by, it featured a directory for small business owners, employment opportunities, census information, election data, historic photographs, a summer calendar of events and a Harry Potter page for kids. A community section offers information about living in Baltimore County, including local government information, nonprofit resources, community services and help for new residents. Other highlights of the site include topical InfoCenters, Kid's Pages and Ask a Librarian.
