Congratulations to the Scottsdale Public Library System

The Scottsdale Public Library System, composed of four public facilities circulating more than 1.7 million items each year, maintains a well designed and easy-to-navigate site. The site serves as a guide to a rich array of resources. In addition to helpful information about library services and a Yahoo-style Web directory, the library offers special sections for kids, teens and adults. All three feature extensive booklists. Scottsdale librarians have also assembled a thoughtful collection of links for Teen Homework Help. Our favorite sections were theme-oriented "TimeSavers" for Twentieth-Century United States, Country Studies and Investment Basics, among others. TimeSavers guide patrons to a wide variety of thematic resources, including books, videos, cassettes, CDs, articles, Web sites and community contacts.
