From the looks of their site, the librarians at the Clearwater Public Library don't spend much time standing still. If you can find it online, you're bound to find it somewhere on the library's well-organized site. The Reference Desk provides an excellent starting point for the virtual patron visiting Clearwater Public. Besides a host of subscription databases (accessible only to library cardholders), the cybrarians have developed a useful collection of Internet resources by subject, from abbreviations to zip codes; these resources are navigable by title as well. Researchers seeking government information can use a handy section on Government Documents. A well-developed Reading Room gives local patrons a valuable tool for locating bibliographies on popular topics as well as finding Web-based lists. The library also maintains an expansive directory to local organizations in the Florida Resource and Opportunity Guide or FROG, searchable by keyword or browsable by subject.
