Congratulations to OurDocuments.gov
Use OurDocuments.gov to research important historical documents that
define U.S. culture and society and help explain our nation's history. Described as "A National Initiative on
American History, Civics, and Service," the online repository features
three historical documents
each week as it builds a collection of
100 milestone documents, ranging from The Bill of Rights (1791) to the Voting Rights Act (1965). The site, created through a combined effort of National History Day, The National Archives and Records Administration, USA Freedom Corps, and The Corporation for National and Community Service, aims to serve both students and teachers in the study of civics.
