Congratulations to the Newseum

Newseum
This online extension of the Newseum in Arlington, Va., offers outstanding online exhibits and lesson plans. Current exhibits include Capture the Moment: Pulitizer Prize Photographs and Holocaust: The Untold Story which explores why the American media downplayed the horrific Nazi-led executions . Other exhibits inlcude Dateline Moon, a closer look at the media and the space race, and Stories of the Century, a look at the century's biggest news events. What was the top event of the 20th Century? Men walk on the moon? U.S. women win the right to vote? A surprise attack wrecks Pearl Harbor? Jackie Robinson integrates baseball? Leading American journalists have voted. You can also watch online movies which capture these top stories.
