The world of grants and grant-writing can be a confusing one. Proposal Writer, maintained by independent consultant Deborah Kluge, helps fund seekers wind through the maze using a vast directory of grant information on the Web. If you're new to the field, it may be helpful to peruse the FAQ. Users can perform keyword searches or browse the hierarchical directory. Subject categories include Government Grants, Grant Writing, International Development Organizations, Proposal Writing and more. Using the site's search function, a keyword search on "youth" yielded a list of foundations with youth funding and two funding opportunities from the National Youth Development Information Center as the top hits. Proposal Writer may not actually write the proposals for you, but it can certainly help.
