Congratulations to CensusScope
Designed to make U.S. census data accessible to everyone, CensusScope offers students, policymakers and the merely curious an interactive site that delivers data for Census 2000 via
colorful graphs and sortable lists. Users can access a number of
charts which organize data by population growth, race, multiracial profiles, age distribution and household and family structure. Charts for all fifty states as well as hundreds of metro areas can be accessed for each of the above categories. More than 10 printable demographic maps of the United States help students of the census analyze racial and family structure distribution. A rankings section sorts data according to percentages of census respondents who claimed multiple race status. Data is available for fifty states and for counties within a state. The site developers are currently working on a segregation category that will provide statistics on more than 1,200 U.S. cities.
