The Digital Divide Network
An initiative of the Benton Foundation, The Digital Divide Network's goal is to help communities find the resources they need to increase access to the Internet. Recent government and independent research surveys confirm that few lower-income Americans have Internet access at home and that over half of American adults are not online. The Digital Divide Network seeks an audience of policymakers, nonprofit leaders, commmunity organizers and industry experts to help tackle this information inequality. Their site endeavors to inspire initiatives that will create new models of technology deployment in under-served communities.
