Washington State Digital Library Resources

Helping pave the way for the creation of digital collections, Washington State Digital Library Resources chronicles the library's efforts to determine the best practices for the acquisition, digital capture, storage, and web-based delivery of documents and photographs of interest to citizens in Washington state.

A central resource to the project, the Digital Best Practices site helps current grant participants as they construct their own digital collections. The site covers all component of the process of converting a print collection to digital format and provides examples of digital collections already in existence.
